828, out of over 25,000 Thais, who were given COVID-19 vaccines have suffered side effects, according to the Disease Control Department.

So far, 116,000 doses have been distributed to hospitals in 13 provinces to be administered to specific groups of people, including frontline health officials, those who have been working in close contact with the infected or those suspected to be infected, elderly people and those with congenital diseases.

Among the 25,864 people vaccinated since February 28th, over 3,000 are medical personnel. Recently, the cabinet approved 6.3 billion baht to procure an additional 35 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, on top of 26 million doses already ordered, which should be sufficient to cover half of Thailand’s population this year.

Why is the side effects in Thailand so high compared to other Countries,

Apparently once you have been vacciated, your arm is tender and can get a headache, which both can last about 24-36 hours,  I wouldn't class that as side effects.

Possibly due to them being more hones. In the UK  even the flu been cured along with a host of other illneses

They are classed as mild side effects.

Quite possibly it is because they are only administering Chinese Sinovac Moonshine vaccine to date!

Anutin is Chinese/Thai, I'm sure he would be unaffected by the Chinese bootleg!

BANGKOK (NNT) - Very few people who have been inoculated against Covid-19 in the five days have had adverse reactions to the vaccine.

Dr Chakrarat Pittayawonganon, Director of the Bureau of Mental Health Strategy under the Department of Disease Control, revealed that 17,697 people had received the Covid-19 vaccination from February 28 to March 4. He urged those who had been vaccinated to abstain from alcohol for at least three days.

During the five days since Covid-19 vaccination began, only 270 people or 1.5 per cent of the total vaccinated people have had adverse reactions, 24 per cent reported pain and swelling in the injected area, 15 per cent had nausea, 13 per cent dizziness and 8 per cent muscle ache.

they were covering different timing.

the 3.2% is the latest data.

the 1.5% was for the first 5 days.

800 doesn't look good, make it 250 is better.. same as the Covid figures..

a very important information also is, ask to the people before inoculating if they are allergic to penicillin, they are very bad body reactions in case of this allergy.

Pitiful performance from a woeful inept PM and some doggy sounding vaccine ????
