BANGKOK (NNT) - The Office of the Prime Minister has delivered protective equipment and sanitizers to Wat Benchamabophit School in Bangkok, as part of the government’s volunteer campaign across every ministry.

The Office of the Prime Minister organized a volunteering event at Wat Benchamabophit School in Bangkok, where officials from the office and subsidiary agencies gave suggestions on self protection against COVID-19 to students, as well as delivering protective equipment.

At the event, 6 thermal scanners were delivered to the school, along with 500 boxes of face masks, 192 bottles of hand sanitizer, 120 hand sanitizer tubes, and 8 gallnos of liquid soap, all to be used by teachers and students at the school.

Participating officials on this occasion included awarded civil servants from the Prime Minister’s office, the Office of the Consumer Protection Board, the Public Relations Department, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, and the Office of Knowledge Management and Development.

Prime Minister’s Office Permanent Secretary Theerapat Prayurasiddhi said the general public still needed to keep their guard up despite fewer new cases of COVID-19 being reported, while the equipment given to the school can help ensure transmission control preparedness and promote the New Normal livelihood.

This volunteering event at Wat Benchamabophit School was part of the government’s volunteering initiative being implemented across all ministries.
