Anybody else having delays reaching forum because of the new (apparently ) DDoS attack protection?

The screenshot below shows what I get several times a day when accessing topics via links from my email.

The dialog says to allow up to five seconds. Generally I'm waiting as much as ten minutes or more and often just give up. The 'ray ID' code at the bottom changes every ten seconds as the load progress bar cycles from zero to 100%, but still no access.

I've tried using just my standard CAT wifi modem as well as my ExpressVPN wifi router through new York USA. Both react the same. I use the Cliqz browser and it's marginally worse than the Firefox browser.  Same result on phone or laptop.  I refuse to use Chrome or some other personal data-sucking browser if that's the issue.

I sent a message to TVF. staff with no reply. I think this is related to the site going down for most of a day last week, but that's just a guess.

I'm near the point of just finding another way to get my Thai news. Very few websites are worth waiting tens of minutes to access.

Experiences or suggestions from TVF staff or users?

Yep - get it on 2 devices.....

More annoying are the constant pop ups tapping each topic....

This pops up for a few seconds on my computers then it disappears, same on the desktop as the laptop.

I use FireFox.
