Have You Ever Typed.

Prompted by this one.......

There is no such thing as money to her friends!

Wow! No comment on that monologue! :o Hmmmm...

I did type a reply to that one NR, it was on the lines of the use of 'white space makes for easier reading'

But I didn't hit the Add Reply button when I finished, I just hit the red X. And I've done that several times.

It was probably a combination of..... I can't be bothered/they won't listen anyway.... so what's the point.

Does anyone else spend time typing a reply that no one ever sees or is it just me.

I've often spent time typing a long winded eloquent reply then sat back, read it and thought "what a load of old billhooks" and clicked on view new posts instead.

I've often typed replies with my real thoughts on a post or person and then deleted it. I get into enough trouble with the ones that go through. :o

Just did that very same thing with a reply about " Happy meals" and " Three little boys".

My reply had something to do with Belgium, so out of common decency I stopped.

I started to reply to this one and thought Mmmmmmmmmm Nah better not

If I never stopped halfway through a post and decided to leave things alone I'd have about 15,000 posts. 5000 or so would be in the deleted post bin. (along with myself I assume) :o

If I type a reply I'll post something. However, I sometimes look at a post for a little longer and then think I'm just not bothered, it would be a waste of time!

So I suppose that's the same thing...

:o

Where were you all and the little Miss Manner shoulder munchkins the last time I posted on general before my holiday?

I also start to write replies and often think it ain't worth my time, effort or twisted eloquence.

But, where would the world be if we always severed our thoughts and ideas from our typing fingers?

The way I see it, it’s not a formula and it’s meaningless, except that you can say that you own the intellectual property right to it.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Not a bad Idea. When posters get out of hand the mods can just give them a juice box and tell them to go sit in the corner. :D
