Firemen from the Bang Chalong station in Samut Prakan were called after a houseowner reported seeing a python in the bowl of his toilet on Saturday.

A video showed one of the men - believed to be Kiatsak Meesaeng - stealthily creep up on the toilet bowl.

Then (at point 1.15 minutes of the video) he thrust his hand inside and skilfully managed to get his gloved hand on the miscreant's head.

The more than two meter long serpent was extricated, bagged and returned to nature.

Sanook reported that the male houseowner, who was not named, had seen the snake in the morning.

So he put some caustic soda down the toilet to chase it away.

Thinking all was now sorted he went to relieve himself on Saturday night only to feel a nudge on his derriere.

Looking down into the depths of the bowl he saw the snake and fled in terror and called the firemen.

Sanook said the authorities were also called to a snake in a well-known kindergarten in the area.

The firemen warned people to always look for unusual signs in toilets before doing your business.

No need to panic

Pythons have no teeth, but can give a nasty suck.

Rule number one , Be wary of anything nudging your derriere unless you are that way inclined.
