20th October

Samui +24 new cases
Phangan +1 new case
Koh Tao, no new cases

I wonder if the increasing number of cases are all home grown or are they due to the fact that there are a lot of domestic tourists visiting Samui at the moment?

I didn't see any comments together with the new 24 cases - I'm probably as curious as you - I also checked the Thai language source, but it only mentions total numbers and cases for Surat Thani province.

And the government wants to open up all schools?

My daughter had her Pfizer jab today, and I think by the end of the month most kids on Samui should have been done (unless their parents ruled against it), so yeah, let the schools open...Covid isn't going to go away anytime soon
