Dr Yong Poovorawan - a leading virologist and frequent speaker on the pandemic from Chulalongkorn University Hospital - has thrown his weight behind vaccines being used in Thailand.

He said that Sinovac or AstraZeneca being used in the kingdom were every bit as effective as vaccines used in rollouts going on in places like the US and Europe.

He said that the Thai people can have confidence in that and the fact that the vaccines are also effective against the so called UK variant or B117 that has been detected in Thailand and has caused a rapid rise in infections due to its virility.

Dr Yong explained the specifications of the vaccines as reported by Daily News on Sunday.

However when it came to the African and Brazilian variants of Covid-19 dr Yong said that they must be prevented from spreading in the country as several reports suggested that currently available vaccines are not fully effective against these.

This was because of protein spikes that differ from other varieties giving the virus a different shape that the individual's immune system can't recognise as easily.

Sky News today reported that China have now started to experiment "Mixing" vaccines for first and second doses because Sinovac is proving ineffective.

Are they experimenting on human lab rats like the rest of the world?

But where are the 52,000,000 doses needed yesterday,

6 months after becoming available & at least 6 months to plan, how many have actually been inocculated, I bet less than 3 million

Less than one million ....

I had every faith in the good Dr Yong to carry on speaking out on the science but it looks like he's succumbed to the attitude adjustment after all. The Sinovac is complete trash against the UK variant even on the normal variant its poor compared to others.

Mixed at a ratio of 50 : 50 with Jeyes Fluid, it may do some good.

???? Sorry.

Unfortunately, Dr Yong cannot say that the Sinovac is less efficient than any other vaccine, because if he did he would be sued for defamation by a rich powerful Chinese-Thai family; where else in the world can you be sued for defamation for telling the truth?

Singapore. Malaysia.

This is from the CDC, a body that are  the "SO CALLED EXPERTS."

The first time a person is infected with the virus that causes COVID-19, it can take several days or weeks for their body to make and use all the germ-fighting tools needed to get over the infection. After the infection, the person’s immune system remembers what it learned about how to protect the body against that disease.

This would suggest that 97% of people will survive after catching COVID-19, and means that you then do not need the vaccine! As told by the experts, so I will use herd immunity instead of a fake protein and fake vaccine.

Why are more and more Doctors advising against taking the vaccine ......... RISK Vs EVIDENCE and there is NO SUBSTANTIATED evidence to prove that a person after getting the vaccine is then immuned, in actual fact the Pharmaceutical Companies admit a definite shortfall in efficacy.

So Dr Yong, of the known-to-be-partisan Chulongkorn Hospital says that all Thais should be confident in the choice of vaccine, despite recent reports from overseas that show Sinovac is a complete effectiveness disaster against COVID-19.

So the Thai people don't worry and think that Mr Prayuth isn't quite as holy and infallible as he paints himself to be.

And so the circus goes on...

No, it's not a disaster against Covid 19. Quite the opposite. When it comes to stopping deaths and life threatening symptoms, it's virtually 100% potency. People should really take a little time and trouble to learn what efficacy and effectiveness mean when used by epidemiologists.
