New TV reported that Prachuap Khiri Khan governor Phallop Singhaseni and Dr Suriya khuharat of the local health department were apprised of the latest figures of Covid-19 infection in a visit to Hua Hin to inspect facilities.

The latest cases were 100 that brought the total in the province to 625 since the beginning of April.

Hua Hin Hospital director Dr Niran Jantrakun showed them what was being done at a school that is being used as a field hospital - the Phanichakan Hua Hin - and at the Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin in the area of the Klaikangwon Palace.

Of the 625 infections 385 are in Hua Hin mostly among young people. Thirteen kinds of places have been ordered temporarily shut in an attempt to contain infection of Covid-19.

The media also reported other measures announced elsewhere on Thaivisa.
