Just a thought airbnb is considered to be illegal because short term accommodation is illegal if the LL does not have a hotel licence. However a hotel licence is not required if the LL is renting out 4 rooms or less. Therefore in theory someone could purchase 4 studio condos in pattaya and rent them out on airbnb
