Driving from Pattaya to Nakorn Sawan

Featured Replies

Has anyone driven from Pattaya to Nakon Sawan and experienced any travel restrictions. The best routes for me would be Hwy 7 to Hwy 9 to Hwy 32. My main concern is going aound the Bangkok area. Thank you.

No restrictions on the 32 i drive it regularly .

1st 50km has the new 120 max 100 min limit in the “fast” lane but not much difference noticed. Some resurfacing going on just above Ayutthaya and usually a police checkpoint at Ang Thong but just the usual show of force and a small delay.

Would probably get response in the respecting forum about the "permit" to leave Pattaya.

I don't know whether it is still a matter/enforced?

It would make big news if there are restrictions to use motorways 7 and 9.

Topic moved to the Pattaya Forum where you are likely to receive more local responses.

No response... hope it's still relevant:

The need for permission/letter from city hall/amphoe seems to have been suspended.

So I don't see a problem for your trip.
