Custom Upholstery HR V

Featured Replies

I just purchased a  2018 Honda HR v with very low kilometer in excellent shape. What I didn't realize is that the wings/bolsters on the lower seat were way to narrow and high for me to sit comfortably with out pain. When I spread my legs for comfort my right leg was up on about two inches of firm foam and the width of the bottom of the seat between the bolsters was also way to tight too tight.

This is my fault for not testing the car properly and noticing this problem but by the second day I owned the car I had two choices, see if I could find some one to modify the seat or sell the car immediately.  Man did I get lucky.

My wife found a roadside shop in Hua Hin through a referral from a guy that sells seat covers.  Mind you I was modifying brand new leather seats and turning a heavily bolstered seat into an almost old fashion flat bucket so I really needed someone who knows what they were doing or else ruin perfectly good seats.  Anyway the job came out perfect. I two hours he removed my electric  seat, reshaped the foam to my specs, cut down the original leather and resewed it perfectly, at the whopping price of a 1000 bah, plus the very nice tip he deserved  for saving my a**, literally.  The moral of the story is if you are looking for a shop to do some custom upholstery in Hua Hin I have a referral. Hit me up.
