Thinking of setting up ecommerce website aimed at Thai's and expats... advice?

Okay so I am considering to set up a fully functioning ecommerce website aimed at the Thai consumer / expats living in Thailand. I have a niche in mind. So what factors should I consider (specifically for Thailand and the Thai consumer) before moving forward with this...?

 

One thing that occurred to me was that Thai's seem to be more comfortable with ordering items, and then either paying at 7/11 or paying on delivery, as opposed to the traditional ecommerce way of paying by debit/credit card on purchase. To me this seems counterproductive but is it something I should consider offering? Any feedback, ideas or suggestions will be greatly received. TIA
