Change flight after receiving COE

Featured Replies

Hi, can anyone advise on how to proceed on this, I have just been notified that my flight from Taiwan via China airlines into Bangkok has been cancelled, there is an option for another flight on same day arriving just a few hours later, anyone have any idea how I should proceed regards to how/who to notify to update this? , assuming at this stage there an option to amend the flight number after having already received the COE, my flight is still more than a week away,

E-mail the Royal Thai Embassy in Taiwan (your departing country which issued your CoE) with the new flight ticket - they will re-issue your CoE (or tell you they don’t need to as you are arriving on the same day).

Bottom of your COE should say no need to reapply if flight change within 72 hours.

It doesn’t....  Your information is wrong.  There is no such statement at all on the CoE - Prove me wrong.

The CoE states your arrival date and flight number.

A traveller might not be checked in to their flight if the flight number on the CoE is different from the flight they are taking.

Ah obviously different Coe's from different countries, from UK has the statement on the bottom, no change needed if within 72hours...

Yep, appologies for not getting back to reply, yes I have the small print.                                 Duh,,,,  Hadn’t even checked the document,, I will although be sure I have the confirmation of cancellation of the China airlines flight with me as I’m sure the check in staff will have questions regardless of what the print says
