Just got this.

Health Alert: Chiang Mai Provincial Government Announces Procedures for Non-Thai Citizens to Register their Requests for COVID-19 Vaccines (May 28, 2021)

Location: Chiang Mai, Thailand

On May 28, 2021 the Chiang Mai Governor and Chiang Mai Provincial Public Health Office announced that non-Thai citizens residing in Chiang Mai province can register their requests for COVID-19 vaccination online at https://www.cm-healthcare.net/CMCVR.

According to the announcement, data from the online form will be used to prepare a supply of vaccines for non-Thai citizens who want to be vaccinated in Chiang Mai. The announcement also states that guidelines for setting the appointment date, time, and location for vaccinations will be announced at a later date on the website of the Chiang Mai Provincial Office (www.chiangmai.go.th) and Chiang Mai Provincial Health Office (www.chiangmaihealth.go.th) as well as the Chiang Mai Provincial Public Health Office’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Chiangmaidatacenter

I just looked into it.  Not impressed.  One page online form that asks for basic information(passport, dob, phone# ,allergies etc).  No confirmation or acknowledgement that your information was accepted.

I will continue with my plans to get vaccinated in Los Angeles.

An email acknowledgement is sent a few minutes after submission.

Only basic information is needed to place the applicant in the right priority category.

It would be helpful if you were more constructive in your criticism.    Because of the limited supply of vaccine, it is unfair to compare Chiang Mai's initial efforts to create a registration process for non-Thai nationals to the current situation in USA, which has practically unlimited resources to commit to the problem. Your issue about not being notified by email that your application has been accepted is a valid point, and I can attest that if that is indeed the case, the issue will be addressed the the office opens on Monday, May 31, although it may take a day or two to resolve it. By the way, out of curiosity I went to request an appointment in my home state of Ohio, but when I clicked "check appointment availability" it did not take me to the page. And I was using a VPN showing a USA address.

"Abbigail Bugenske now has a million-dollar check to go with her clean bill of health.

Ohio lottery officials revealed Wednesday evening that Bugenske, a resident of Silverton, was the first winner of the state's much-anticipated "Vaxx-a-Million" sweepstakes. The five-week contest is offered to all residents who received at least one COVID-19 vaccine shot."

Did you say Ohio?

If you make it back to Ohio soon there are 4 more 1 million dollar prizes.

I am going to a local Costco  pharmacy in Los Angeles County.  They offer all three of the vaccines I like and an appointment can be made from anywhere in the world.  Also, I called my local CVS pharmacy and they told me I could just walk in between 0900 and 1700 and I could probably get vaccinated with a short wait.

My expectations from any part of the LOS government is really, really low and I expect to be back in US before my appointment in CNX. I plan on being back in Los Angeles and catch a few Dodgers and Rams games.

The key part of your statement is "limited vaccine supply".  AKA, foreigners who are under 60 and are healthy(this is me) will be waiting a long time.  My guess is The Los Angeles Dodgers will have won another World Series by the time I get vaccinated in CNX??

Just FYI I registered and got a confirmation email instantly.  Being in the 18-55 range with no health issues I'd imagine I'll be at the end of the line...
