Transfer visa to new passport issued by different country

Hi everyone,

 

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the (elite) visa stamp to a new passport of the same person but issued by another country while in Thailand?

You cannot change from a passport of one country to one from another country while in the country.

You would have to leave and re-enter the country with the other passport with a new visa.

Before giving up, I'd call the Thai Elite Visa company and ask them for their suggestion.   I'd especially do it before I left Thailand, given the current travel restrictions.

 

You have 2 distinct issues.  1) transferring an expensive (Thai Elite) visa from one country's passport to another at all and 2) doing it without leaving the country. 

 

Edit:  If you left the country and came back on a different visa (or exempt..)  in the new country's passport, you still have the issue of transferring the Elite visa.
