7-eleven chicken tikka masala

Featured Replies

I'm reading this thread at almost midnight, and I now have a need for chicken tikka masala and garlic naan.

In pre-pandemic days that would be no problem, but now ..... ????

COVID just got serious!

I'm seriously considering turning one of those big clay water containers in my wife's garden into a tandoor. It wouldn't take much, and can get all the spices from ZingStreet.

  • According to the product photo, that would make this man one of the smallest ever Indians:

Will have a look, does it come with rice, and is it sold nationwide?

Has anyone seen the cheesecakes they do now for 35 baht? Red, purple and yellow toppings, crispy base? They are the real deal, very nice indeed,. In some hi-so bakery they would cost 100bt up.

But dont tell anybody else or there will be a shortage

I live 700km from Bangkok. I went into my local 7-Eleven a few days ago and asked if they could order this meal, and was shocked when they said that they could. I now have it in my hands and am waiting for my wife to come home from work so that I can force her to taste it.

Probably the first time for years that I wasn't given the old "mai dai, mai mee".

I find the portion size to be fine for me. I just add either a pinch of chilli flakes or a chopped fresh chili and mix it in, comes out to be very decent for a 69 baht ready meal. The only other ready meal I have enjoyed is the char siu fried rice they sell in Tesco:

Sometimes on special for 25 baht.

Is there also meal without pork? Thanks

It also says something about artificial rice on the betagro website, what nonsense is this or just translation error?
