jcgodber
I have heard around my village that it is very good luck to drive over a snake on the road. Of course not lucky for snake!
toybits
There is a tribal group in Thailand that considers snakes to be creatures of the Devil. If they see a snake, it brings ill omen. I heard from a group of trekkers that they were shocked when one of their porters that belonged to this tribe killed a snake that happened to cross their path. Such a thing would probably not be sanctioned by the SPCA in the UK. Not Here! One example of when East clashes with the West. So today we found an Asian vine snake in our garden.Sadly it looked like security broke the snakes back.
