I haven't got time right now, I am watching the footy.

But you had me worried back then.

I'm patient, I'll wait, may have to wait a long while though. I look forward seeing your false claims of what I posted.

You are very entitled to your own opinion but when you start making unfounded accusations then you are being inflammatory and promoting false accusations all of which are against the  forum rules.

I would not get tested.........as its a sentence to 14 days being locked up.

Well that is just selfish.

And a big part of the problem in other countries that have seen horrific death tolls.

People just won't comply with the procedures put in place and resist the advice from the virologists and the result is 3+ million dead.

The countries that have allowed positive cases to isolate at home with no supervision have proven that people just can't be trusted, breach the rules and further spread the virus.

The stringent rules put in place in Thailand, who have been internationally commended for the handling of this crisis, not only stop the spread, but has the added benefit of keeping out people that refuse to comply.

Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul is giving an interview on MCot saying there should be no vaccine shortages. 500,000 more vaccines will go to BMA this week, he said. #whatshappeninginThailand

Anutin adds that the shortages come from administration that didn’t plan accordingly. MOPH told BMA the number of vaccines they would receive for the month of June, they must plan to administer correctly.

They need to vaccinate about 500k people per day  to meet their own targets. 500k per week isn’t going to cut it. And they have already fallen behind the required run rate.

Hold on mate, give me until tomorrow.

Just to be clear, you are claiming  you and others were predicting these low numbers of deaths 6-8 weeks ago?

Not as far as I'm aware? However they did hint at it in a press briefing at the weekend:

"Around two-thirds of Covid-19 patients possibly died due to non-communicable diseases and not Covid-19 itself, the Department of Disease Control has said. Statistics show that patients with high blood pressure have a 2.17 times higher risk of death than other infected persons."

The only people that are to blame for the Publics guard dropping in the Government.

All the positive spin being put on the One jab policy, and the numbers of jabs actually given has people thinking they are Bomb proof now.

Again the Rural Doctors Ass,n are kicking off against the Government.

There is another sharp increase in Prison Infections

And the Koreans have openly accused Thailand of keeping the AZ vaccines for themselves.

BMA and MOPH at each others throats now

All in all, the Government is handling this Covid Outbreak really well.

Limit the testing you get the same amount. Testing in Thailand is about as successful as the vaccine roll out

Amazing.  He goes from accusing you and Ryan of implying that we'd be at thousands of daily deaths

To saying that "you and / or other posters didn't think that the daily deaths would be this low."

I mean, talk about moving the goal posts.  Those two accusations are so vastly different you almost have to respect him trying to slip that change in so casually once he was called out on completely making up the first one about you

People here never cease to amaze me

The bar-stool epidemiologists are out in force today! I would hazard a guess that there is not a boy scout first aid badge between them, let alone an "o" level in statistics!

1,723 Hospital walk ins test positive. This is another high day for those seeking a test and getting a positive result.

Indicates clearly there is far from enough testing happening in the community and instead people need to rely on taking themselves to hospital.

While this is still occurring after all this time then the situation is not under control.

Ancient history now and none of which will save the Thai economy going forward.

What will be vital is containing the current outbreaks and getting the masses vaccinated.

Other countries are now opening up and getting the situation under control, which is exactly the opposite of what is happening here.

Another Thai woman dies after receiving AstraZeneca COVID-19 jab

Family members of a 73-year-old woman are demanding that authorities investigate her death and take responsibility, if it is found to be related to the AstraZeneca jab she received on Friday (June 11th).

According to her family, the woman died a day after receiving the jab, at Ang Thong Hospital.

According to the woman’s 83-year-old husband, he, his wife and another member of the family received their vaccine jabs in Ang Thong province. The dead woman started coughing and had a headache when she got home, which was believed to be mild side effects of the vaccine.

Yes plenty but you made a claim so I'd like you to take the time to prove yours first ie that the UK and Indian variants are less dangerous?

I'll be more than happy to provide credible links to refute this.

Er, well, the numbers are hovering around 2,000 because of the controls in place and they have successfully, so far, stopped the exponential growth seen in Europe and the USA which killed over one million people.

And yet they’re always so damn sure of the BS that they’re saying. It’s wild
