I can not get rid of yahoo  from  google chrome search   after deleting it from search list it is still there. Saw McFee yahoo search on list which  can not remove only edit. so removed McFee  from programms but still there on search list any clues  

  

On Chrome settings you will see this.

Click manage search engines and be sure Google is set as the default one.

I  sorted it quite simple just reset the browers to orignal settings
