What is the  current situation with immigration  if there are no flights out of Thailand when my 90 day tourist visa expires ?  Thank you.

You would obtain a 60 day covid extension prior to expiry of current permit 

BTW ,you mean your 60 day tourist visa + 30 day extension = 90 days

A tourist visa only allows one 60 day entry that can be extended for 30 days. 

At this time you could apply for a 60 day covid 19 extension at immigration.

Perhaps not to his home country or required destination. 

Also no need to leave Thailand as 60 day covid extensions are available.
