Daily News reported that Thai authorities including the Marine Police found 1.2 tons of heroin and crystal meth in mangrove swamps in Satun, southern Thailand.

They were in the area of Klong Tammalang and were believed destined for Malaysia.

The drugs had the logo of the "lion's foot stamping on the world" brand.

They were concealed in packets of green and regular tea within plastic containers usually used for fruit. Some containers were floating in the water when retrieved.

The haul was worth 60 million baht in Thailand but if it reached a third country successfully the value would rocket to half a billion baht.

it's the wholesale price, can be bought at north of thailand.

in malaysia it's 10x

in australia it's 200x

in japan 300x more

the never close down factories or supply routes. Just end of chain dealers.

As those above just had a tip off and run away.

Head of the syndicate was arrested earlier this year.

The haul was 1.2 tons of heroin and crystal meth yet only valued at 60 million ThB? Must be low quality.
