my wife was watching Channel 3 via the TrueID TV app on a smart TV. suddenly following message displayed : 

We apologize for the TrueID customers for this unavailable program due to broadcasting restrictions.

 

STRANGE ! no problem for last 2 years, suddenly popped up. been uninstalled and reinstalled again, no change.

There is the answer  they do not have permissions to broadcast that programing

could have been something "sensitive"  about Thailand  or  maybe a sporting event

they have not paid to broadcast   also   the program may be restricted to "domestic" viewers  meaning that it can only be shown on Thai terrestrial TV or Scrambled Satellite TV   but not over the internet

after calling 5 times to the True Call Centre, get the proper response and it is indeed the last point you have mentioned - for some particular TV programs on Channel 3 (perhaps others as well), they do not have license on digital broadcast via the TrueID app via internet. they still can broadcast those programs via their satellite TV box. the call centre suggested for those programs, we may watch them via the satellite box instead.

 

never experience this in the past, this is the first time.
