I have just moved (Renting) into a brand new condo (Building completed in 2020), and within 6 weeks one of the air con units has stopped working, I reported it to the juristic office who sent an engineer along who confirmed it was not working and needed an air conditioning engineer calling out to look at it (I suspect its out of gas or has a drain blockage)

Juristic office quote me 7 days as is has to be an engineer from the air con manufacturer and cannot get a 3rd party to look at it, they did say I should run it at 18c or run the bedroom aircon to cool the entire room down (not happy doing either of those as that could worsen the issues / cause additional damage)

Is that about right these days for modern condo blocks to carry out super slow repair jobs, in my previous place, landlady would have an aircon crew round the following day (while usually being stood there apologizing profusely)

Just phone a local company, I know a couple I use in my local area and they are always there same day or within 24 hours. Both were recommended by my condo management.
