Medical investigators say 42 post-inoculation fatalities not linked to COVID-19 vaccines

Investigations by medical specialists into the deaths of 103 people, who died after they had been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines, has concluded that 42 were not linked to the vaccines, with the rest still pending investigation, said Dr. Chawetsan Namwat, director for emergency health hazards and diseases of the Disease Control Department, on Thursday.

 

Of the 42 deaths investigated so far, he said that 20 were associated with other diseases, including 10 cases of heart and coronary artery disease, 3 cases of brain haemorrhage, 1 case of purulent meningitis, 1 case of pulmonary embolism (lung arterial blood clot), 1 case of intraabdominal aneurysm (stomach bleeding), 1 case of immune thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (blood disease) and 3 cases linked to other diseases.

 

Dr. Chawetsan added, however, that the medical investigators have assured that all the vaccines administered in Thailand are safe and members of the public, particularly the elderly and those afflicted with any of seven underlying diseases, should not be overly concerned about their safety.

I am sick of this stupidity. One cannot prove a negative. You can never rule out a causal link.

It seems that if someone is having issues after the vaccine, they should be admitted to the hospital, and most could be saved~blood thinners...may of these can be diagnosed and treated.

even young people can get a heart attack.... but after a vaccination than all alarm bells are ringing and same for strokes... It is known that AZ can give this kind of reactions, so why on earth deny it?? It happens in every country, and because of that in Europe a lot countries don't use it anymore.

Totally agree. And with Covid there was always the argument that cases numbers and deaths are really higher as many out there have not presented to health authorities and are therefore not counted. That could also apply  to the vaccine side effects and deaths going unreported.

Hooray!! This has been my line of thought for a long time now regarding this whole virus situation. It seems I am the crazy one these days for uttering such things though....What happened to peoples logical thought processes over the last 12 months?

In Thailand the numbers are low because of the face saving aspect, that giving the exact numbers of deaths due to COVID was bad for the country reputation, and for 

tourism reputation as well.  Most countries of the world have more deaths from COVID, than their official numbers because of other lung diseases being used as a cause as well.

 

  I hope that Thailand has become more honest in their numbers in the more recent times.  My Thai relatives that work in the health care industry, as nurses, and administration at hospitals are who I have relied on for a more accurate picture. They are all anxious to get their vaccine jabs as they all live in danger every day of catching the COVID virus.

OK....now I understand the delay in the vax rollout, why waste the vax on people that would have died anyway in a few days from their "other" diseases. And any who continue to die after being vaxed will always be just coincidences. (sarcasm)

The patient in question had received Sinovac, not AZ. Sinovac does not cause the same rare reaction that AZ and J&J vaccines (adenovirus platform) do.

 

And the patient in question had an AVM (atriovenous malformation). Common cause of hemorrhagic stroke in younger people, no connection to vaccination.

 

They really are doing detailed autopsies. And they really do have reason to say that those examined to date did nto die due to vaccination.

In any group of 7 million people (the number vaccinated to date) there are some who will die within a day, a week, a month etc. in fact about 1,500 of them would be expected die each day.

 

the numbers dying after vaccination are not any higher than the numbers who would be expected to die under ordinary circumstances.

 

It is not expected that vaccination will render people immortal. Nor is it the case that every single thing that occurs after vaccination, is due to the vaccine.
