Really?

The vaccines are only effective against the Chinese variant which was first detected.

Has any large scale studies been done on the Indian variant which should need a new vaccine.

Where on earth did you get that idea? The Indian variant is now the predominant one in the UK and while infections are quite high, hospitalisation and death rates are at  an all time low. We have been repeatedly assured that variant resistance has not so far significantly impacted the vaccines in use. The intention is now to lift all covid restrictions on 19 July.

Until quarantine on arrival restriction is stopped for arrivals who have vaccine shown effective against variants, no tourists will come. A tourist is someone who visits for less than 30 days. They will not accept to stay in expensive quarantine hotel 14, 10, 5 days.

The Thai government saying that they have to produce their own vaccine, because of security, is totally fake news.

Profit and other reasons is the true reason for producing the vaccine.  Thailand has a military for reasons of security.

Don't you just love how the government cannot tell the truth about things.

Geezer
