BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand said on Wednesday it would import nearly four million doses of Moderna's mRNA coronavirus vaccine towards the end of this year and a further one million in early 2022, for use by private hospitals.

PHUKET: Pornthep Channarong, the corporal with the Phuket Provincial Police who was drunk off-duty when he shot 25-year-old noodle vendor Aroon Thongplab in the stomach on Bangla Rd in Patong in February, has entered a plea of not guilty and will fight the charges against him in court.

BANGKOK (NNT) - Phuket will reopen to vaccinated tourists tomorrow (July 1st), with Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, set to arrive in the province to oversee its reopening. The Royal Gazette’s website recently published the 26th emergency decree on requirements and guidelines for reopening the tourism sector in pilot areas, starting tomorrow.
