So, who is in your opinion the best actor for the last decade I am leaning towards Denzel Washington or maybe Morgan Freeman

What films? Havent seen a good one in 10 years. Those 2 are overrated imo.

For sheer entertainment value I would lean toward Tom Cruise and the M.I. franchise and Top Gun revival.

His own stunts and technical abilities are admirable and for me, he's always entertaining,

well I knew nobody would agree with me but they are my favorite actors but post your opinion here

True Cruise movies r usually good. He's good at the fun characters, cant play serious though. That WW2 film was horrible.

I think the director makes a film though mostly. Actors are overpaid.

I think many movies could fall into that description but they are, for me, still very entertaining.

 

Agree with most of your list, but would add Jack Nicholson, Samuel L Jackson,

Taken 1 was good. Bit silly after. Bourne first 3 good, 4th one silly.

Never liked Nicholson. Most of his films kooky.

 

Samuel was good. Great in Pulp Fiction.

 

Arnold was the best action dude though. Predator was great.

I think nowadays they go all CGI crazy and alot of it is just ridiculous and hard to believe but you get kind of absorbed and its escapism entertainment not to be viewed too critically I think.

Action dude for me would be Stallone in the Rambo series. And later Expendablex, big Rocky fan too.

 

 

I liked the Bourne movies, Predator, Heat and Taken 1 cause you had drama, action, suspense and surprise. Even a bit of comedy.

 

Wick moves were non stop action. Bit silly. Just meaningless.

Christian Bale.  From Batman to American Hustle to The big short to Hostiles to Ford v Ferrari, the best actor of the last decade.

In my own opinion the best actors these days are in tv rather than movies. Bryan Cranston (was good in Your Honor, BB) and  Peter Dinklage (GOT)

Tom Hanks , hands down. 

Gary Oldman seems to be in a ton of movies and is a good character actor.
