Sun and rain, but august can be really nice. Mostly it doesnt rain all day, just some showers in the afternoon (this is if you’r lucky! Some years its pretty wet...)

You will probably not be able to swim in the sea, so go for a hotel with pool.

Good point , this is the time when most of the drownings take place, be very careful of the strong under-currents
