Nothing much to do in regular Thailand
Museums are boring and pretentious. I actually went to the Louvre. I can't remember how many hours I had to stand in line to see the Mona Lisa. And then when you get close, there's a huge crowd of people and the painting is tiny. And it's a scam. It's an over-rated painting of the face of a woman. Who cares? Dali on the other hand. I did see a Dali exhibition and the paintings were huge and cool. So ok, some art exhibitions are worth it. Take a trip to Europe or back home once every 5 years or however often you can afford it and go see some shows. But I don't need it on a regular basis. Music and films are available digitally online. And podcasts. Thailand provides warm weather, nature, sunshine. And get a hobby. People who have nothing do to have no imagination and/or are trolling. -

Technology and food
About as techy as I get, is reading the menu with Glens/translate. Won't order or pay with my phone. Did my first KFC self order, and good thing there was a ''pay at counter" option, or I would have left. How that or any of these tech things saves anything is beyond me, as takes way longer than time and staff it takes to talk to people, to take order & pay. Same with check out at cashier in chain markets, people looking for, fumbling with the phones and slow apps to pay for shopping. Just pure silliness. -
