Dear Canadian :

You are receiving this message because you are registered with the Government of Canada’s Registration of Canadians Abroad (ROCA) service. Please note that only emails from an email address with […]@international.gc.ca come from an official account of the Embassy of Canada to Thailand or an official account of the Government of Canada.

The Embassy of Canada to Thailand has been informed by the Royal Thai Government of another opportunity for the vaccination of foreign residents of Thailand aged 75 or older residing in Bangkok or in neighbouring provinces.

Eligible individuals aged 75 or older residing in Bangkok or in neighbouring provinces (Nakhon Pathom, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakarn and Samut Sakhon) can currently visit Bang Sue Central Station every day from 09:00am to 4:00pm, without a prior appointment, to be vaccinated at gates 2, 3, and 4. Please ensure to bring with you:

1.     Passport; and

2.     Proof of residence in Thailand.

Simultaneously, the Royal Thai Government has now opened registration for foreign residents aged 60 and over (born in 1961 or before) and who are also residing in Bangkok or neighbouring provinces, as defined above. To register, please visit https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf_M5LMBUrxjtqtiRjp0dmtAgXHxrOBYN5T__fj_wuUPwen9A/viewform?usp=send_form.

Foreign residents residing in other provinces should contact their local health authorities to find out more about local vaccination efforts.

The Embassy of Canada to Thailand will continue to advocate for equal access for all to vaccines, based on a rational prioritization of vulnerable groups such as the elderly or individuals with underlying conditions. For more on the Embassy’s and the Government of Canada’s efforts with regards to the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccines, please watch the Ambassador’s recent message on Facebook at https://fb.watch/v/Of2tUC0d/.

New information will be communicated to you via ROCA message as the Embassy becomes aware and can confirm its accuracy.

Thank you,

The Embassy of Canada to Thailand
