Receiving notifications for when 'quoted' only..

Okay, so I'm really tired of being notified when a poster blows me a kiss or pulls a funny face at one of my posts.....why would I care, I'm a grown man.

 

How does one set ones account to only being notified when quoted? I have tried but can't see how the 2 are separated? Ta

So I have to put with alerts when someone pulls me a funny face unless I block all notifications?? Whose ridiculous idea was that???

Changing these 2 should do it.

Yep, been there and have ticked boxes 'Automatically follow new content I post and 'A notification when new content is posted'......which I think is correct to get notified when someone has commented on one of your posts, but how do you set it to only get notified if you are quoted only? Before i could do it, but can't see how now?

There does not appear to be a separate one. Turning this off should do it.

Ok I 'll  untick   the  Notification List on  Mentions&my content  and see what happens.

Well after doing that all went very quiet

so now quote myself to see if I get a notification ?

No Notification so turned it back on !
