Hi. Not sure if this is correct forum. How would I make a contribution to the food kitchens? It would only be in the form of dry goods, eg Mama, and the like, but I'm happy to do what I can. Cheers!

Hello. I asked the mods to move your topic into the Pattaya forum as we can't respond to posts in the "Events" sub-forum.

The problem with donations is knowing where and when. My friends have been doing food handouts every other week or so and I usually find out when they post pictures of them doing a handout.

A couple weeks ago one guy put up a message about collecting food donations and suggested what to donate. So I gathered up enough stuff to make 20 meals (rice, eggs, cans of tuna, mama noodles as well as some treats for kids and a few boxes of disposable masks so they could put a couple in with each meal).
Turns out, he had a truckload of stuff already.

What they did was buy a huge amount of stuff and if you wanted to donate, you could give them the equivalent of say, 20 meals, in cash. Or donate food which would then be added to what they'd bought.

They then cooked up everything they'd bought and had donated (whether or not anyone else donated anything) and then did the distribution.

I could have posted pics of the foreigners taking food handouts during the Beach Road donation but some of you may recognize some of them. (And the pics have expired on Line and I can't be arsed to search that far back for them either.)

I looked all over their Facebook page and a linked news article, which just directed people to the Facebook page, with no indication about how to actually donate.

It would appear that you'd have to send them a message (or create a post on their timeline) and they will probably reply with their banking details or an address where food/clothing can be dropped off.
