NOT ME...Some of us have severe allergic reaction to Vaccines from childhood, Did have the Flu jab 20 years ago, and still 20 years later have some of the side effects, as with all Vaccines also some medication that have been prescribed over the years,  often wonder how many weeks I have spent in ICU/Hospital because of severe allergic reaction in the past 70 years

You are aware that the Mrna vaccines are made differently than the old  vaccines, you can tell a Dr. about your reactions to past meds/vaccine and they will tell you which of the current vaccines you can take without an alergic reaction.

Both my Dr and the Specialist he sent me to. said to give this Vaccine a miss. I did have part 1 of the pneumonia vaccine 9 months ago = in a Coma in ICU + 4 nights in Hospital

This is for all you antivaxxers, you don't seem to realise that although you refuse to join society as a whole & use the hackneyed phrase ' we don't know how this will affect us in years to come ', yet you want to go to bars, use the shops that I or my mrs use, go get a massage, go to the gym or cinema or a 100 other things that people like to do.

Well I don't want you spreading the foul disease anywhere near me thanks and prefer you stay in the confines of your room, condo or house, shop online and drink alone at home, because you are all social lepers.

And I really am a believer that immigration should ensure your compliance by refusing to extend your stay in the kingdom if you refuse to conform to society and get the necessary 2 shots, unless it's a one shot vaccine of course.

And the vaccinated individuals are not spreading the "foul" disease to others?

I'm well aware of that study, I was referring to people who won't vaccinate but want to ditch masks, open bars and carry on as before with no thought for the safety or wellbeing of those with compromised immune systems or carry a higher risk due to underlying problems before the majority have had the chance to be fully vaccinated.

And different studies conclude different things - some say the viral load is less etc etc, so nothing is set in stone as yet.

You'd think the sick could avoid going to bars.

Maybe stay at home and take a few precautions to protect themselves.

Especially now the CDC says vaccination doesn't stop transmission.

(As demonstrated by the 12 fully vaccinated restaurant staff in Hua Hin all diagnosed with COVID)

As for vaccination,

If someone were to turn up at my door with a free vaccination and a document accepted by the UK government as 'proof of vaccination' allowing me to re-enter the UK without quarantine, I'd probably say OK. But as it stands I'd need to be re-vaccinated again in the UK for it to count.

Did you read the article before posting?

Vaccinated individuals who suffer breakthrough infections can carry as high a viral load as non vaccinated.

1. Breakthrough infections are the small number of of vaccinated people who get sick with COVID - already significantly less than unvaccinated people.

2. ‘Can carry as high a viral load’ is not ‘do always carry the same viral load’.

3. ‘Viral load’ is not transmission of infection.

4 The evidence is consistently mounting, vaccinations are drastically reducing the spread of this wretched disease:

It would be interesting to relate this to the 12 fully vaccinated but infected staff at the Hua Hin restaurant.

Small number ........ I wonder how many staff there were, and what percentage were infected.

Let's hope 'small number' is not equal to everyone.

It would be even more interesting to know what vaccine they had, when they had it and the outcome of their infections.

Got a friend who felt forced and got double vaxxed in Europe, returned just a month after Phuket sandbox and is now in a BKK hospital with covid. So much for the brilliant experimental vaccines.

Breakthrough cases do occur - and the elderly are still highly susceptible even if they are fully vaccinated. This experiment has well over a billion participants and they are effective in reducing deaths and hospitalisations.

Don't worry, you will get your immunity one way or another.

Not much chance of getting a social life is you are always masked,

Some of the public health measures to fight this wretched disease have negatively impacted my social life; specifically lockdowns, closure of bars, restaurants and cafes.

I can’t think of any instance of face masks restricting my social life.

They have however introduced the occasional instance of ‘eye flirting’, which has brightened one or two days.

Seems to have gone off topic.

Are foreigners going to be told to get a vaccine for their visas?

If they were to do that then I would think the same would stand for all foreigners entering Thailand, It's OK if they would put an end to the COE.

It would not bother me the least if they did.

I think anyone what wants a vax should be forced against their will not to get one...

It would not bother me the least if this happened...

Seems like the antivax crusaders don't actually respect the "freedom" and "personal choice" they are supposedly advocating.
