webfact Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Picture: Sanook Sanook reported on a video that they received that showed a waterspout or "Lom Nguang Chang" (Elephant trunk wind) hit Chachoengsao on the eastern seaboard. The storm developed in the Pak Nam sub-district of Bang Khla district with people sharing a local mayor's video. Somporn, 63, said it was fast moving and accompanied by lots of loud noises and lightning. She noted being scared and said it passed about 50 meters from her house and sounded as if a helicopter was landing. She said it blew stuff around but her house escaped damage. Others reported damage to their roofs from the waterspout. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-07-27 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 1
