Can you transfer a UK Visitor Visa to a new passport or can you travel with the new passport and show the visa from the old passport?

You can use the valid visa in your expired passport when you’re travelling to and from the UK.

You’ll need to travel with your expired and your new passport, there's no need to pay to transfer the visa vingette into the new passport.

Yes, the above applies, but given the cost of Thai passports, and that I understand passports now have a validity of ten years, you may want to obtain a new passport.
