What happen when you use a Thai account and proof of income letter? It seems to me your using two seperate vehicles to come to that majic 800k mark.

You do have the option to use the combination of income and money in the bank for 2 months to reach a total of 800k baht required. If you can get proof of income from you embassy it would be Fairley easy to do.

You would also need to keep the money in the bank for 3 months after applying for the extension of stay and the at least half of it (amount is depends upon the office where you apply) for the remainder of the year.

  • Because they can and they have something you want. It is pointless locking horns with them.
