More than 93% of the population wanted Thais to pull together in a spirit of cooperation with the authorities like during the cave rescue drama (of mid-2018 in Chiang Rai).

Wasn't it foreigners that eventually rescued those kids though?

So typical again! In what country in the world in 2021 are Thai/American/French, etc., people asked to pull together?

Is that the 1930s or 1940s? Why not ask "people" to pull together? (Oh yes, and I guess the Thais did the 2018 cave rescue all by themselves as well...)

Maybe people in Thailand should come together.

I - for one - can feel a very fast growing hatred against anything Non-Thai, be it the alien or the dirty farang. Fact is, that  Thailand needs the rest of the world at least as much as vice versa; after all, mobile phones and all vaccinations are non-Thai inventions to the better of the rest of the world.

So stop the bashing on all non-Thai stuff and you can start at the top of this government for good measure!

The government did very little to help with the cave rescue.

In fact, they were a hindrance. Trying to keep the foreign rescue team out of it and bringing in the poorly equipped Navy Seals of which one sadly died.

Lots of barriers put up by the government but the Provincial Governor was the Thai on the ground that made it all happened. Ably assisted by the local Thais.

Yes, the foreign rescue team were the life savers and they were very well supported by the locals. Not the central government - until it suddenly looked like it might work.

Then, of course, the government finally came in and 'saved the day'? Ably assisted by Elon Musk.

(There may be some sarcasm in that last sentence.)

Throw the regime in a cave.

Rescue optional.

Win-win, brings the country together.

Super-Duper Poll says 123% thought this was a good idea.

Continuing building the Birma railway from the WWII.... That will teach them
