Medical Clearance for Phuket Sandbox?

I believe I have (or will have collected) all the necessary documents for entry in to the Phuket Sandbox in the next week or two.  I'm not in a big rush.  The one item that has me a bit concerned is the medical clearance, since it has to be done within 72 hours of boarding the plane.  I would like to hear from people that have done this recently.  I have had no luck reaching the Thai Consulate by phone.  Emails to them about other topics were never answered, so to be honest, I didn't even bother writing them about this issue.  I trust the info from this site more anyway.  I've received some great advice here in the past.

 

The website of the Thai Consulate in Munich states, under a list of required documents for entry:  "Medical certificate that certifies you are free from COVID, including a laboratory finding of a RT-PCR test..."  To me the "including" implies that they need more than just a lab report.  They want a certificate, presumably signed by a physician, that I am COVID free.  They won't just look at the negative lab report and make what I think is the reasonable assumption, that I am COVID free.  Maybe they are concerned about false negatives and therefore want a physician to certify that I also do not have any detectable symptoms.  Since I'm not a German resident, I don't have a regular doctor that I can set up an appointment with 72 hours prior.  I will have to find some COVID doctor in a tent somewhere to get this done quickly, if necessary.

 

Many sites I've visited do not update their information regularly.  I would hope the Thai Consulate in Munich does.  Maybe not.  I know that the "Fit to Fly" document, which was basically the medical certificate from a physician, was eliminated roughly last April.  I'm wondering if the requirement is back under a different name, if the Consulate possibly hasn't rigorously updated their webpage since April or if I'm reading too much into the requirement.

 

Are there any recent Phuket sandbox veterans who can tell me what documentation they were able to use?  Did their medical document include anything in addition to the negative RT-PCR lab result?  I think it also might possibly be a case of the Consulate in Germany claiming something is required that actually isn't required by the local officials.  I have a few weeks before my flight, so I have plenty of time to react.  Appreciate any current info anyone could share...

The wording medical certificate is not exactly correct and is confusing. It is only the test results for a covid 19 test. it needs to be issued no longer that 72 hours before you departing flight.

I agree.  After posting I thought of looking at the Thai embassy info for Berlin and London.  Both emphasized the need for the lab report only.  No mention of a medical certificate.  I tried to edit my post or delete it, but that does not appear to be possible in this new forum's format.

It appears Thai Consulate Munich has not updated their webpage.  It's a relief actually.  One less hoop to jump through...
