Clinic treats some diseases with cannabis

Kancharak Wellness Clinic in Pathum Thani Province became the very first clinic to use Cannabis for treatment in Thailand which had been officially registered and approved by the Thai Ministry of Public Health since the country announced the movement of all parts of Cannabis and Hemes, except for Cannabis’ inflorescence and seed,  from type-5 drugs lists in the Thai government gazette on December 15th, 2020.

 

Thitirat Chareonarg , manager of the clinic, stated that there were many Thais who still see Cannabis as a drug while most of the people don't understand clearly about pros and cons of it, adding that the many properties of cannabis treat diseases more than other herbs.

 

Pharmacist Prakob Jianmareong, Headman of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine Unit, Nakhon Ratchasrima Provincial Public Health Office, emphasized the need to establish integrated cannabis clinics as traditional Thai clinics across the country, including traditional cannabis prescription doctors and cannabis-trained traditional medicine doctors from the Medical Services Department to treat patients. Ministry of Public Health has also been continuously promoting Thai Traditional Medicine doctors to work together with Conventional Medicine doctors to heal many chronic diseases especially in terms of pain relief.

Cannabis definitely is a medicine plant .

In it's original form .

Why the hype about a little THC that only makes people see things as they really are ? ( Consciousness enlarging ) 

May be because some politicians don't want just this ?

Is anyone espousing that marijuana (or alcohol)  should be regularly used by teens?

Is this news? These clinics have been around for a few years now. There are dozens of clinics and hospitals around the country that offer medicinal cannabis.

This may be correct for young people but I can report that I've used high THC cannabis oil for years and a recent IQ test at age 74 gave very similar results to an IQ test from 17 years ago. No cognitive reduction -- despite what my friends say !

I can not take this for serious . You know why ? Because they just say that cannabis or alcohol consumption leads to ...

That is not detailed enough .

If someone consumes excessive amounts of alcohol or cannabis , the effects will certainly differ from someone who just occasionally uses it .

But in the whole article , there is not one word about the amount consumed ... !

That puts someone who likes to have a beer or two in the same category as a heavily dependent alcoholic . Or an occasional smoker becomes the same as an daily stoner who just takes too much .

That is NOT serious , and , consequently , the whole article by your beloved Psychiatrists is not relevant as they do never mention the doses that had been taken to achieve the published results .

Therefore , it is just some pseudo scientific BS , nothing more .

No wonder I was a "C" average student in High School.  Straight "A"s 4.0 student in college a decade later.  Hummm  ????
So if I hadn't smoked the devil's weed I could have had a 130+ IQ.  I feel so bad now.  (not)

Now now ,Isn't  that the same as with any other Drug ? Legal or Illegal ?

One is Not suppose to take/use more than what is Needed for the Pain or problem .

I dunno, not a regular user at all, but whenever this plant is mentioned it does tend to put some folk into a frenzy. Namely the medical/pharmaceutical industry which are the biggest drug pushers. When comparing the benefits for those who are struggling with pain and depression, for example, and resistant to traditional ’medication’, who cares if some ‘study’ shows negative results regards IQ points in teens? That is likely through heavy usage, while intelligence quotient tests in garnering one’s true intelligence (while ignoring other areas) is only part of the picture, typically only displaying reasoning/problem solving abilities. They are are unreliable to boot. Whatever, I’d rather be a bit thicker and happier to at least be permitted the choice of sampling Mother Nature than be forbidden to do what I choose by some Triassic government with a stick up their ass.

The American Journal of Psychiatry did not find anything, they published an academic article by one doctor. You should realize this, perhaps you have lost cognitive function by not indulging..

I don't believe I said how right they are, it was a quoted source simply. The topic is not about me, so it seems it is you losing the thread.
