Combined use of AstraZeneca and Pfizer jabs starts in October in Thailand

Thailand is tentatively set to extend its “mix and match” approach to COVID-19 mass vaccination in October, using the AstraZeneca viral vector vaccine as the first dose, followed by a dose of the Pfizer mRNA vaccine 4-12 weeks later. About 10 million doses of Pfizer-BioNTech are expected to arrive monthly, said Dr Sophon Iamsirithavorn, deputy director-general of the Disease Control Department yesterday (Friday).

Clinic treats some diseases with cannabis

Kancharak Wellness Clinic in Pathum Thani Province became the very first clinic to use Cannabis for treatment in Thailand which had been officially registered and approved by the Thai Ministry of Public Health since the country announced the movement of all parts of Cannabis and Hemes, except for Cannabis’ inflorescence and seed,  from type-5 drugs lists in the Thai government gazette on December 15th, 2020.

One dead, one injured in tragic car accident while returning from a charity event in Chonburi

Hua Hin October 1st reopening guidelines formally approved

(NNT) Thailand’s Public Health Ministry is preparing to reopen the country to visitors from abroad on October 1st, starting with Bangkok, Chon Buri (Pattaya), Prachuap Khiri Khan (Hua Hin) and Chiang Mai.

Cha-Am: Search for missing Netherlands pensioner "who went out for a beer" stepped up

Border police in Nakhon Phanom in Thailand's north eastern region announced the arrest of a 31 year old female Som Tam (papaya salad) seller with 4.6 million Ya Ba (meth amphetamine mixed with caffeine).

Thai/Nigerian romance scammers arrested in Phuket after "money from Afghanistan" ruse

Channel 7 reported that Region 8 police in Phuket had arrested two Thai women and a Nigerian man after investigations into a Romance Scam in Nonthaburi in which they swindled half a million baht.
