price of medical certificate for driving licence

Featured Replies

Be careful some Licensing centres wont accept from a clinic, must be from a hospital.  Best to check first.  I always pay 100 baht, sometimes I dont even see the doctor.

  • I think I paid about 150. at a hospital and about 60. at a clinic. very cheap, they don't really do anything. just check to see if your breathing.

  • It varies.   Mine was 650 baht at Udon Thani Bangkok Hospital.   Cheaper at clinics.   I like the private hospital. Nice coffee shop and attractive nurses.

  • Walked in, paid 50, walked out with certificate. May have cost more if I was carried in.

15 years ago I was directed to a clinic by the lady doing the paperwork checking. It cost me 50Baht for the lady at the reception desk to take a copy of my passport and whom ever to write the health cert. Best five minutes ever.

Including the private factor of 5 to 10 in prices. And a "hospital fee" of 200 Baht, which none of the cashiers in Phuket could explain to me. I guess it is the fee for aircon?

Duel pricing for the air con.

I am registered with a doctor in Chiangmai, I walked in, asked for a driving licence certificate and left 5 mins later having paid 60Baht.

Last time I got one but nobody looked at it. The time before I paid 40B . There was just a little girl in the clinic .The doctor had been in and signed a pile of papers and left. She just added my name took my 40B and handed me the paper.

I paid 100 Baht each for mine at a local clinic, the doc only checked blood pressure and asked me if i felt ok, in and out inside 10 minutes

The licence centres usually have a quack very nearby, my place charge 100bht for each licence. Got mine a couple of months back, didn't even check me over..????

Yes, some clinics, like my local one, don't have a doctor there, only a nurse, and  i believe it must be signed by a Doctor.

I spoke to the Doctor, '' Hi how are you?''  answer " It's up to me to find out how YOU are"  :cheesy:

They threw in a health certificate for free.

Coffee wasn't bad either.
