Pets should be considered and electrical supplies such as a generator and sandbags might be worth considering.

Where will grandma and grandpa who watch the grandkids in their tiny shack obtain the funds to purchase a generator and such.  Most of the pets are not truly pets but roam the neighborhood coming home at night in the small villages to become an alram system when a thief or anyone either walks by or enters the property.  He should have told those folks to also ensure they had a small plastic boat so they could paddle away instead of having to be rescued from the rooftops where they climb to.

Dr Opas Kankawinpong - the Department of Disease Control chief famous in Thailand with appearances throughout the pandemic - turned his warnings to rainy season flooding mitigation.

Anyone care to explain how they could charge the phone to call emergency numbers if they actually needed candles and torches ?

I thought candles and torches were only used when chasing monsters like Frankenstein, along of course with the villagers wielding pitch forks as well.
