Thailand’s Ministry of Education has been making preparations for the mass inoculation of millions of students, aged 12-18, before the planned resumption of on-site classes at the start of the second semester, tentatively in November.

 

Education Permanent Secretary Supat Champathong said today (Wednesday) that there are about 4.35 million students at schools under the supervision of the offices of the Basic Education, the Vocational Education and the Office of Private Education commissions, who are to be inoculated on a voluntary basis, expected to commence in early October.

 

Two million doses of the Pfizer mRNA vaccine will be available by the end of September, with an additional eight million doses to arrive during October, he said.

It is absolutely criminal that the idiots in charge are trying to push for this whilst the vast majority of the elderly and vulnerable receive nothing, the only upside is it's just more smoke and mirror's to deflect the fact they have <deleted> all to use due to their own incompetence...

From reopening on november 1... we are now at : "tentatively in November".

 

It doesn't sound good. ????

 

This calendar is simply absurd.

 

It's totally impossible to give 2 doses of Pfizer to 4 millions of students... from end of september to end of october.

 

Another knee jerk reaction, grand plan... because Thailand follows the orders of the Big Father.... China.

 

Beijing just announced that 91 % of chinese children 12 to 17 years old... have already been vaccinated...

 

So Thailand feels compelled to do the same. At least, to say the same.

 

At this date.... only 18,4 of the thai population are fully vaccinated...

 

It means many old thai people who need the vaccine... will come AFTER young children...

 

It's just criminal.

Very sad that the over 50's continue to die from neglect by the government. 14,765 recorded deaths from Covid - to date. More than half were over 50 years old.

The ignored generations.

Perhaps it's not the Thai children that are so innocent, but instead..........

Good idea, they need to get back to class and some normality of life and indoctrination.

I because many poor students do not have the required tools, such as computers, laptops, smart phones or stable internet connections....

 

guessing there is a extremely percentage that have smart phones.. maybe there

Only used to play games.. .. perhaps Thailand should do similar to China limit 

the amount of time children under 18  play games on internet..

 

If I remember China limits children Internet game playing 3 hour a week ... 1 hour a day Friday,Saturday and Sunday and holidays between 20:00-21::00 ... .. Focusing on education 

 

 

The media say the government is giving Pfizer to school kids but a friend told me he received an email from his daughter's international school saying his 12 year old has to get Sinopharm at the school.  What's up with this?  Sinopharm has no credible international accreditation (apart from the dubious pro-China WHO), performed poorly in countries outside China that used it wdiely and it is only the Chinese say so that it is safe for children.  The school is owned by Thai Chinese who I am sure will be getting Pfizer for their own kids or grandkids.
