ANUTIN SAYS ALL TARGET GROUPS WILL BE VAXXED BY YEAR’S END

BANGKOK — Health minister Anutin Charnvirakul said the government’s plan to fully vaccinate all target population groups will definitely be achieved by the end of this year.

Anutin also said the government will now turn its priority to providing booster shots, even as a majority of the Thai population has yet to receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. To close up that gap, Thailand is now resorting to “borrowing” vaccines from other countries, such as Singapore and Bhutan.

The US wants to send us 1 million Pfizer doses but can’t because Thai government hasn’t done paperwork

The Thai government has yet to sign off on the necessary documentation to receive Pfizer donations from the United States, a meeting between a Thai politician and a US senator has revealed.

Outrageous. Paperwork before saving lives. Which so called committee is holding this little gem up?

A somewhat meaningless boast without identifying who are "all target groups".

Could it be Anutin's group or the CCSA, or better yet the office responsible for reviewing and approving such paperwork such as the initial orders of Pfizer.....only God or Buddha themselves truly know the answer.

Wifey had a couple of phone calls this morning. Turns out a person with the same first name is suspected of having covid in her small town and they were enquiring if it was her. It's not wifey but a short phone call to somebody more in the know got the response that contact tracing has taken place but only those with a raised temperature, even close and at high risk, are having a covid test. No wonder case figures are so low.

I'm truly getting fed up with published death numbers. I mean they are pointless when not compared to anything else.

When the BBC publish their daily figures they say that the deaths are for all those that had a positive covid test but died within 28 days for ANY reason. It's total madness, considering more people get covid in hospital and more people go to hospital when near dead.  I am pretty sure that is they started publishing figures showing how many people died daily that had a heart disease diagnosis within 6 months the figures would dwarf covid !

You are confused.

Rather than a detailed explanation about why you are wrong, let me ask you 2 questions:

1 - Do you believe that UK mortality numbers for Covid are overstated?

2 - Do you believe that Covid deaths are insignificant compared to other forms of mortality?

You have a source for that or are you making it up? Someone who has a bag of cement fall on them from a building site, should never be labelled a Covid death, nor would any doctor put that on the death certificate. In fact, deaths from Covid are higher....for the UK, total Deaths within 28 days of positive test is 135,621, while Deaths with COVID-19 on the death certificate total is 158664.

Source.

Refusal to recognise vaccines given across Latin America, Africa and south Asia has been denounced as ‘discriminatory’

Well refusing to allow a person into the country based where they are from is too.... this is not the time to let PC come into rule and play, and put populations at risk.

1 - yes, 100%. As the numbers include potentially people that actually got better from covid - its from positive test date, not reason for death later.

2 - No, a death is a death, and a sad loss to all. I am not a covid denier, but if you want to report a death then report it for the correct reason for death.

They would upset their Chi... masters.

Getting free vaccines from the USA and not buying from their masters.

The economist death tracker is recording Thailand excess deaths as

August - 15,000

July - 4,500

June - 4,000

May - 3,000

So, 26,500 extra deaths May - Aug. With say 3-4000 of the covid deaths of Thailand reported 15,800 happening this month, Thailand is missing a minimum of 14,000 extra deaths in 4 months ! Anyone care to explain the 14,000 missing deaths ? extra Road deaths are not that bad !
