Elite Visa and 90 days

Featured Replies

Am I correct in thinking that the Elite Visa still requires 90 day reporting.?

Yes - you are correct.  90 day reporting , & annual extension. They will help you with this if you require.

Yes but you don't need to go to immigration. All you need to do is drop your passport off at Elite Visa's office and they will go to immigration on your behalf.

IF you happen to live in one of the few cities where they have an office.

Bangkok only actually. Here in Phuket you got to do it yourself.

How does 90 day reporting work? just passport?

the new scheme in the pipeline does not require the wealthy to do 90 day reporting, so the most wealthy has some priviledges than most other ordinary guys, hopefully in order to attract wealthy people, more can.be improved such as air pollution, drainage system (serious flood in 2011 in many regions, as reported in news on bangkok flood map regions) and more friendly visa policies and reporting requirements?

oh yes, most local people do.not drink tap water, for some unknown reason, probably need improvement too?

Yup. Do it online or drive thru counter at Phuket immigration.

You fill out a form. Some imm offices want a photocopy of your passport with it.

Some imm offices will take just the passport and no form and do it right into the computer, others insist on the form.

It can be done online by computer at this site https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do

Can also be done by mail

The reporting per se is not hard, it is the hassle of keeping track of every 90 day interval, especially for those of us here for years and years.

Be aware that reporting online, while very convenient, does not always work.
