Does anyone have any info as to when this will open?

 

And indeed whether Savanakhet will still be an option for 1 year ME non-O visa?

No firm info about any land border crossing opening.

There was talk of there being a travel bubble with Laos but I have seen no more info about it.

I think they will still do a multiple entry non-o visa unless they adopt the e visa online application.

Why not just get a non-o while in Thailand with a multi-rentry permt ?

I know parts of Lao are on strict lockdown.

 

One person per household is allowed to leave the house twice a day to buy or get essentials per family.

 

I believe they put most of the blame on Thai people entering illegally.

 

Nice to hear the shoe in the other foot.

 

I don't think it'll open until after January at the earliest.
