worgeordie
I had a problem sending some Cashew nuts, dried fruits, from Chiang Mai post office, they say you are not allowed to send that kind thing, as they were just packed in pouches without brand ,details Etc., it must be ANOTHER, new law as I have never had problems before, so I advise you to check first. regards Worgeordie

The Hammer2021
I am here in Thailand and wonder if I can send stuff like dried fruit, novelty bubble gum etc from Thailand to the UK. I am not concerned with UK rules and regulations. It is Thai rules I wish to know about.

Turn up at the Post Office and if they ask what's inside, then mention a few books or something equally anodyne. ????
Smoothsailing1
The post office have a list of prohibited items, listed by location. Dried fruit and novelty gum isn't mentioned as prohibited in sending to the UK. https://international.thailandpost.com/locationservice/?lang=en&location=UK&service=11731
