Re-Entry Permit

Featured Replies

1. Are reentry permits still available at Suvarnbhumi Airport before an international flight?

2. What are the current insurance requirements returning mid March 2022, with Non O extension 800k method expires April 06, 2022?

3. Is there another entry method that avoids this insurance.....Non O, etc.?

4. Where does one buy the required insurance?

I am aware of the new Thailand Pass and other new requirements to enter as of November 1.

Thanks in advance to all Aseannow/ThaiVisa posters........

You can obtain a reentry permit at airport. The office is after security check and prior to passport control. Zone 2.

You require insurance for the period that you will be stamped in for. In your case that's a very short period.

Personally I would obtain single reentry permit 1000baht.

Along with required insurance.

Of course have your financial requirements in place to obtain your next 12 month extension shortly after you return.

In case you stay 11 months in Thailand your insurance is a cost factor:). Even for Non Imm O Visa holders. Reason to stay in Thailand for many people? Prison feelings....

As Non Imm. O Visa holder you dont need to have insurance, only when you fly out and come back. What a nonsense....

If CW is inconvenient obtain reentry permit at airport.

Can't imagine why anyone would make trip to CW when the permit process at airport takes a few minutes..

Does anyone know what time the office get a re-entry permit at the airport closes?

About 3 years ago, I was planning to get one at BKK, but was told that the office had closed for the night. I seem to remember that it closes at 22:00? I was able to get a re-entry permit, but I'm not sure how I worked that out.

Maybe there was another after-hours office in the airport? I can't remember.

At both airports in Bangkok the re-entry permit desk is open 24 hours a day now.

The office is always available.

Sometimes it is unattended.

You draw the attention of airport staff and you will be taken care of.
