change of passport pink ID card

Has anyone bothered to change the passport details for the pink id card . If so what was the procedure .

AS far as i know your passport number is not on your pink ID card.

The number of the yellow book is on there?

Why not go to the place that issued your pink ID card?

The 13 digit number is taken from the yellow book----same digits with the Thai's Blue book.....not passport

Exactly that.

I would not wish to have the volatile passport nr. on there, but please when could they improve it by adding my "real" name in latin script like on the Thai ID cards!
