Special Tourist Visa (STV) apply

Featured Replies

Hello I gonna apply for STV this week, and these are the documents I need to give at the embassy. I have some doubts in some of them...

1. Passport

*2. Two apply forms filled: here I see the apply form is exactly the same than the normal tourist visa form. Is this correct? STV and normal tourist visa use the same form? I dont see any field where I can specify Im applying to STV and not for the normal one.

3. Two pictures

4. Medical certificate saying I dont have some diseases

5. Crimianl record

6. Copy of certificate of medical insurance (40K - 400K covering)

*7. Copy of a booking for all my stay in Thailand AFTER my 14 days quarantine on ASQ hotel: here as there is no need of 14 day quarantine anymore, I can give my booking for all my stay AFTER my 1 night quarantine in Test And Go program right?

I asked this questions via email to the embassy here, but looks like they dont like to work too much.

I noticed that they not ask for any flight out of Thailand like in normal Tourist visa. Anyway I think I will book some cheap flight just in case they ask me later, or aeroline ask me for go into the plane.

Anyone who applied to the STV after they removed the 14 quarantine days have any info about this?

Thanks!

The requirements vary from embassy to embassy. Where are you applying at?

Some are now using the e visa website.

My embassy (Sweden) have buried/made inactive the STV page and re-direct all applications to the new e-visa website. I haven't fully applied as of yet (the insurance co. is lagging). However, hopefully my screenshot here could be of help. These are the requirements from that website. I'm not sure if my local embassy will demand local documents such as Medical Cert & Crime/Police-registry.

Im applying from Spain. The list of requirements I posted, is the list they have posted in the Thai Embassy in Spain.

For what I see, they still ask you for 14 day quarantine.

Thai Embassy here emailed me saying: "The documents to provide are the same; the only thing that changes are the entry conditions regarding quarantine, so the documentation must be adapted to current measures"

So looks like I just need to book my Test and Go hotel with PCR for one night.

The quarantine is incorrect and I'll upload my Test and Go booking here.
